Q1: When did you start making art ?
It’s hard to say. It starts to happen when one begins to grow up. As I can’t say precisely what art is, telling when I’ve started making it is even more difficult. The first image? The first drawing? Were my infantile paintings already art? I was growing up in artistic environment: my father was a poet and mother was a graphic designer. A certain way of expressing thoughts, some unconventional ways of seeing the world have been with me since always.

Q2 : What does inspire you?
I think that almost everything I see: nature, other people, other artists, situations. Certainly, I strongly stem from a Polish, specific, visual tradition formed in the Polish drama. In terms of expression and iconographic devices, I feel attached to the language of Polish poster school.

Q3 : What are your techniques ?
It’s a combination of photo manipulation, 3D and digital painting.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works ?
A great part of my works were press illustrations primarily for the Polish heavies like” WPROST” from the same press section as Newsweek, and for the psychological magazine ” Charaktery. What was leading in these works was the visual and artistic interpretation of the text.

Q5 : What is the main color of your art and why?
I don’t have any color to which I’d be particularly attached, probably we could rather talk about some colouristic gamuts, but I’m not sure if that’s truth, either.

Q6 : What would you improve about your work and why?
Hah, I always wish they were better. A lot of my works is marked by the stigma of bungles resulting from the rate of work. This means that very often I had to race against time. Unfortunately, that’s the affliction of this kind of work. So if I could change anything, I’d often like just to have more time to do what I do.

Q7 : Do you have any project for the future?
Yes, I would like to throw out of my head as much as I can and carry out a variety of current and older ideas which couldn’t have been done earlier due to the lack of time. But I also have an idea of creating my own blog. I have a feeling that I posses my own, less or more original definitions for many of current events and I’d like to share them. A certain uniqueness of this project will consist in adding my illustrations to my texts.

Q8 : Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of Igor Morski..
Joy, nature, life – in any order 😉

Q9 : Show us (link ) your very first work . Describe it from till techniques feelings .

Q10 : What did change from your first work till now ?
Certainly, technology has changed. My first works were made entirely manually. At present, I use electronic media in almost 100%.

Q11 : What is art for you ? Escaping from reality or the essence of life ?
The essence of art for me boils down to two main issues. Firstly, it provides the ability to transfer the contents that elude verbalisation. Secondly, it provides specific stimuli and experiences. I’d add that it is also the medium of the multi-dimensional beauty.
