Q1: When did you start making art?
I guess it was 2008, when I grabbed my first camera.

Q2: What does inspire you?
Fear, Death, the fact that our life is limited. Aside from that, other artists like Joel-Peter Witkin, Roger Ballen and Seth Siro Anton.

Q3: What are your techniques?
I use photographs and photoshop to create digital photomanipulations/ photo-collages

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
Hm… I guess, it’s fear.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
At the moment I’m using a sepia-kind of color scheme. I was looking for a fixed color scheme for a long time, I found this one by surprise and I just like it. I adore old vintage photographs. I think this colour matches my style perfectly. Gritty, scratched, grim images from eerie places haunted by creatures you don’t want to meet.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
I would like to do everything I show in my images with accessories, masks and costumes, but because I’m limited to a very small budget, I can’t right now. Photos are real, manipulations are manipulations.

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
I want to do a set of tarot cards.

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of theArtOfsoma.
Fascinated by the dark, lost, strange. I know, it sounds like a klischee. :)

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
HERE it is.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
Right now, I’m better in mastering photoshop, dealing with textures, cutting out photo-elements. It’s just craft, it’s not about creativity.

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
It’s definatly the first one. When I’m creating images, I forget about everything else: Food, sleep, problems. It’s escapism.
