Q1: When did you start making art?
First steps I did about 2008 with manipulations of stock material.
I got interested in making my own photos, and buyed 2012 my first camera.

Q2: What does inspire you?
Nearly everthing. The fears and hopes and fanatsies of people surrounding me,
the people I work with (model, visa, designer), the daily life, other artists (photographer or not) and
the media (books, films, fashion…).

Q3: What are your techniques?
I take my photos mostly in a studio, sometimes outdoor or on location, and
the I use photoshop to add a specific Idea I have in my mind.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
That’s difficult, I don’t know if I have a main
idea. Maybe that we’re all strangers and not alone.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
I’m a huge fan of colors, and I love every single one,
because every color can underline s specific feeling or atmosphere. But in trend I use more dark colors.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
What I really want to learn is much more lighting technique
and beauty retouch. Lighting is such a strong tool, and can change the mood completly, so I want to do more
with different lights that the one I use at the moment. And beauty retouch, especially Dodge&Burn, can form
a face, which is really interesting and can underline ideas as well.

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
Many many many 😉

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of Spiegellicht.
Dark Fashion Composing.

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
My very first composing is this HERE It’s not that bad, but I needed
over 20 hours.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
I became darker, and more into fashion. I work more with designers
and Make up artists, and I profit very much from their talent, because I can create more surreal worlds.

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
It’s my essence of life <3 (And sometimes
escaping from doing the chores, too^^).

  Love this art!
