Q1: When did you start making art?
I started when I was a child, I had 3 or 4 years, my father at first was behind me and encouraged to keep drawing, when I look in my past, I always remember myself with a pen in my hands, I never stopped drawing… the first time that I used the computer to do art was when I was 18.
Q2: What does inspire you?
All I see in my life. Fantastic and horror movies, video games, books and my most inspiration I think is the work of another artist or designers.
Q3: What are your techniques?
I start with a black and white sketch, using a pen or drawing in photoshop with a tablet, then when I feel that the sketch is balanced and lights and shadows are ok, I start to add the color, and some times I use textures…
Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
I love what I do, so I try do the best I can to achieve an image with visual impact.
Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
I prefer the magenta and cold palettes, because I feel that I can make a mysterious and dark atmosphere, but of course it depends on the style of the illustration.
Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
I always try to improve in my work, I think that always could be better…

Always keep drawing, and try to have a art and design studio…

The idea HERE was create a dark medieval warrior, inspired in the art of The Lord of the Rings, my techniques were paper sketch and then I painted in the photoshop, this was made in only one layer from start to end.
Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
I think that my work has changed a lot, the use of color, the brushes that I use, the use of layers, and the tools in photoshop, but principally I improved my drawing technique and the use of light…
Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
I think the art is an essence of life, and my way to express myself is making art.
