Q1: When did you start making art?
From childhood.

Q2: What does inspire you?
My dreams.

Q3: What are your techniques?
Uh .. I just paint as I see.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
Pain, sadness, and depression.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
I like the dark burgundy shades.
It’s just easier with them.
I hate bright acid colors. It kills the atmosphere of the picture.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
Details.
I put very low details. I’m just lazy :)
I need to spend more time on it.

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
Unfortunately no.

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of REYKAT.
Depressive, silent, passive.

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
HERE is the very first picture in Photoshop.
If we talk about the most very firsts, they are not in electronic form, and to show them would be extremely difficult.
In this figure, I probably decided to use all filters and brushes which exist :)
fanart for the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I still love this game.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
Almost everything.
Changed views on methods and progress.
I stopped using dirty colors.
I started to spend more time (but still not enough).

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
It is my personal mirror.
It reflects my mind and what I see there.

Art is the way the artist influences people.
It make them feel what he feels, even if it is foreign.
I think it is a way to spread itself through the consciousness of people.
To lay some of the information and make his world to live.

  Love this art!
