Q1: When did you start making art?
Since always, I think. I’ve always been attracted to art.

Q2: What does inspire you?
Fairy tales, stories, music, and experiences.

Q3: What are your techniques?
Digital media mostly, my art style is a combination of cartoon, cubism and surrealism.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
To represent a story or a feeling, with allegories and symbolisms. It has a lot to do with the “self” and unconsciousness and consciousness.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
Warm colors, I’m really attracted to them, I also use a lot of red and teal, combined the colors look really vibrant and fun.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
I would like to try do different types of styles and colors! Because it’s fun.

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
I’m doing concept art for a upcoming kickstarter project I will soon announce!

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of Nadiezda.
Wacky, dreams, self

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
My first work (at least on the internet) is HERE.
I used photoshop cs3. My style was still developing, I wanted to represent a Mexican holiday using traditional houses and decorations, even skeleton mariachis on the left.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
Everything! I mean I think the style is the same but the quality and the confidence on the pieces shows a lot more, I have more confidence using colors and creating an atmosphere.

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
It’s some sort of therapy, when I draw i feel much better, but it’s not really escaping, but figuring out what I really feel or what motivates me, or what I want, it is simply trying to comunicate an idea.
