Q1: When did you start making art?
I started working on my “professional” art career two years ago after my graduation at the Academy of Fine Arts, but I’ve obviously always loved to draw monsters and stuff since I was a little kid.

Q2: What does inspire you?
I take my inspiration from a lot of visionary artists who have influenced me since childhood: Lovecraft, Beksinski, Giger, Dave McKean, Nihei and much more.

Q3: What are your techniques?
Photoshop CS6, a tablet and a lot of photo references (despite all, I’m still bad at drawing freehand =P).

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
To evoke a sense of oddity, repulsion and disorientation.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
Black. It’s the color of night and unknown, bringer of fear and uncertainty… and this has always fascinated me.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
Everything. =)
Jokes aside, I really need to learn to draw and paint more quickly!

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
To work hard on my freelance career. That’s it. =)

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of Mesozord.
Creepy, empty and chaotic.

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
HERE
This is the oldest work that you can find online. Technique was definitely very rough (were my early days with a tablet), but it already had the right feeling anyway.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
Main themes and inspirations have remained the same (I seem to have found my way after all), but I must admit that to a purely technical level I’ve improved a lot.

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
Art it’s the proof that each of us has a different perception of the world. And for me It’s an amazing thing. 😉

  Love this art!
