Q1: When did you start making art?
Like everybody I guess, I was 3-4 years old. When I was 7, I was given black and white book “100 most famous paintings in the world” I probably copied a half of them with my pencil.

Q2: What does inspire you?
Other artists!

Q3: What are your techniques?
Now, I only use photoshop and I do photomanipulations.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
I like the art which can touch your sense of esthetic as well as imagination but I stand firmly
on earth so my creation is never too abstract. Feelings are very important so sometime love or hate is the subject.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
I don’t have any particular color in my mind, but I prefer dark tones.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why? Techincs of course, photoshop gives you so many possibilities, I would like to remember them all, without technics you are just an amateur – you need technics to express in the best way what you want.

Q7: Do you have any project for the future? Not really, but I have a dream to leave my job (I am working for HTC phone company) and do just that.

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of Manink.
Oh, difficult, inexpedient, probably impossible.

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
I deleted it few months later. It took me 3 hours and I was exhausted, today I can spend more than 6 hours searching for the right stock and I know that I am still the beginner, better than I was but still beginner!

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
Just technics I guess.

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
I can’t imagine life without art, but it’s not an essence of life, people are and animals.
Art is rather a part of life than escape!

  Love this art!
