Q1: When did you start making art?
Like most people I started when I was a child, I loved to draw dragons and fanatsy creatures back then. I didn´t draw recently, sometimes only once per month when I felt like it. I just started to take art more serious this year, May 2014. Now I practice a lot and try to improve.

Q2: What does inspire you?
I´m a passionate gamer, a big fan of the book series AsoIaF and The Witcher Saga and a big Anime/Manga Fan as well – all these are big inpirations for me (yes, I´m a fangirl…). I love to draw the characters how I see them.
I enjoy to be part of Fandoms, I like the exchange and share of ideas 😉

Q3: What are your techniques?
I mainly paint digitally now. I don´t follow a specific process, sometimes I start greyscale and then colour it, sometimes I use colour from the beginning; for bigger images I started to do thumbnails, that´s really helpful. I still try to test out what works best for me when I plan to do a full body plus background picture… I have to work on my workflow.
But what I can say for sure is I prefer to paint on one layer, I tried out a lot of different techniqes but I really like to just paint on it like on a real canvas x__x.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
I simply love to show ideas and scenarios through my paintings (preferably desperate ones ö.ö), different aspects or the personality of characters, sometimes more serious, sometimes just for fun.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
I still try to experiment a lot but people describe most of my works with a dark color scheme and limited colours (and I agree to that ö.ö).

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
Wow, a lot, but most anatomy, perspective and light (I just started to work with perspective few months ago and I still have to learn soooso much).

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
I love to join art exchanges for a certain topic or fandom. For me it´s a good practice to have a given topic, I’m planning to opening commissions next year and I think this will help me; also some personal projects as well.

I wanted to use more colour there… tbh I had no clue what I did but it was fun, there are a lot of errors but at least the creature is cute and creepy.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
My skills (hopefully haha) but somehow my preferences almost stayed the same. That´s a good thing because it´s what I love to draw ;).

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
Art, or drawing/painting in general is something I don´t want to live without anymore. I think even if everything seems to go wrong, I can still pick up my pen and draw, and nobody can ever take that from me! (let`s hope I don’t lose eyesight or my arm gets cut off ö.ö…)
