Q1: When did you start making art?
Already when I was 5 to 6 years old.

Q2: What does inspire you?
Pretty much everything but nothing as much as dark things. Monsters, farytales and all kinds of fantasy.

Q3: What are your techniques?
Also here I can say that in my life I used more or less any kind of techniques. I tried out a lot of different things. From classic painting to collages. In my early life I was drawings comics a lot. Later when I was in the twentys I also started to create 3D animations and modeling. 3 years ago I started finaly with digital illustration, wich is my business today.

Q4: What is the main idea or feeling behind your works?
If I have to name a basic idea behind my works I would say that it is mostly dark fantasy but I also did (and do) political stuff, especialy during my studies.

Q5: What is the main color of your art and why?
My early works where mostly without colors (black and white or just ballpen drawings). Today it depends on the supject of my different works.

Q6: What would you improve about your work and why?
I improve more or less with every drawing / painting I do. My goal is to reach a perfection like “Brad Rigney”, “Piort Jabloski”, “Dave Rapoza” or “Hans Rüdi Giger” just to name a few of many others artists I love. Why? Clearly fun and success in the first place! Another good reason is the fact that higher skills bring better costumers, better costumers pay more money and more money means more succes. Alomost every artist would like to live from his artistic skills.

Q7: Do you have any project for the future?
Working freenlance (it just started to work out). Working for really cool projects in the board- video- cardplay game and movie industry.

Q8: Describe yourself with 3 words capturing the essence of Kingstantin.
Oh, that’s a good one… hmm let me see: Dark, wild and beautiful maybe. I don’t know actually.

Q9: Show us (link) your very first work. Describe it from techniques till feelings.
Since I have created so many drawings from the age of 6 on, I don’t have anything online but I can show you one of the first digital pieces I did HERE. It was even the first picture I’ve uploaded on my Deviant account.
It’s the “Astro Hare”. It was my 3th serious try with a garphic tablet and just “new learned” professional techniques. I worked higly concentrated on that one and I loved it with every new layer I put on. 😀 while working on this one, I made the decision to work as a freelance illustrator in the future. I actually like that guy so much that I redrew it one and a half years later HERE.
Later I even created a whole new space race and I’ll use a few of that paintings as an application for Games Workshop soon.

Q10: What did change from your first work till now?
Everything! The styles, techniques, colors, compositions and so one. Like I said I grow with every single drawing / painting I do.

Q11: What is art for you? Escaping from reality or the essence of life?
Both, depending on “what” kind of art you’re looking at. Political art in museums or exibitions for example, is always reality in a new -often abstract shape, while art for the game or movie industry is only created for entertaining reasons and joy.
